encrypted file system problem,

hi,
i encrypted my files on windows XP and after 1 month , i
formated my C drive, and i installed windows XP, and so i
dont have access to my protected files.

i know the admin username and password for last windows.

now my question is , can i recover that files or not ?!

1) Is it a simple case of File Ownership?
2) Did you export the certificates of either the profile that encrypted the
files or of a designated recovery agent (must be done before access is
lost)?
3) Do you have access to the old Profile (from a backup maybe)?

If you answered no to all the above questions, then the files are just
occupying space on your hard drive - no backdoors exist :-(
