I wish to set my browser to view ALL pages with "Western European (Windows)
encoding. yet it continually changes by itself and I have to set it back.
Can this setting be made permanent?

Thanks

Hi Bob :-)

Be sure that Auto-Select at the top of the Encoding dialog box is checked.
If so, UNcheck it.

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Accessibility
For normal viewing, nothing should be checked here.

Hope this helps :-)
