encoding problems

Hi,
I use IE6 under Windows ME. For some time now, the browser
doesn't encode properly - any diacritics are either not
displayed at all, or are displayed as a ?. I tried
changing the encoding (Western European ISO, UTF-8, etc.
etc.), disable and re-enable auto-select, but nothing
helps. Any suggestions?

Do a repair of Internet Explorer. What operating system do you have? If
Windows XP,

Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP
