Greetings All,

I am also having encoding problems with ie6. I doesn't
matter if I use auto select or not, the encoding always
shifts from Western Euorpean windows to Western Euorpean
ISO. I have tried service pack and IE updates but the
problem still persists.

Any help out there?
Bob
P.S. I am currently using Windows 98

I read the article, checked all the registry settings,
tried the suggestions posted by other readers and am still
having the same problem. I set the default registry
setting to Western European and ISO (rebooting each time)
to no help. I have also tried repairing. Only things I
have not done is uninstall/reinstall or revert back to
older version (is that even possible?)
