I still have a trojan virus that keeps interfering with normal use of my
computer, especially while using my Internet Explorer. I have used both
securityiguard and mcafee virusscan 8.0 to clean up all the trojan files that
come thru daily. I also use Norton utilities to try and keep windows to
operate normally. Beside the constant flow of trojan files, I believe there
is a hidden or entrenched file that has corrupted my internet explorer and is
the key reason why all of the other stuff is happening. No matter how many
times I change the IE settings to a default homepage, the very next time I
use IE, the home page is about:blank. Also, there are two links of a
pornographic nature in my favorites folder that also always there, no matter
how many times I try to delete them. I have even tried to rename them, only
to have two more links for the same pornographic websites show up again. Is
there anything that you can do to help me out?? Any assistance would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bunnski

Boot to Safe Mode and run the scans there.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:
