enabling taskmanager

my talk manager of windows XP has got disabled somehow
and i ma not able to enable it, please help me and tell
me how can i enable it.

either click Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Scheduled Tasks>once there click the Advanced button and Start the task scheduler....or Start>Settings>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>then Services....scroll down thru list,right click on Task Scheduler...view Properties,and choose your startup preference
