enabling hyperlinks on disscussion boards

Just wondering if its possible to enable people to click
and fallow hyperlinks posted in a disscussion web. If so
how do I enable it??

It is a big security risk to do this, which would allow anyone to post malice code.

Not too worried about the risk, this is being hosted on a
intranet site, for a small department per request (which
means my input does not count for much). I encouraged the
department to create a word document with links they could
check out via share point services, but this was shot down
as being too trouble some(too many clicks).

So with that being noted is thier a way to enable
hyperlinks?

Assuming a windows server I'd grab a copy of MS's asp.net forum from
http://www.asp.net/Forums/Download/Default.aspx

This will do what you want is a snap to install and it's free.
