Enabline Java?

A friend sent me a game postcard, but when I try to use it I get a popup
saying I need to enable jave. I gives an address to click on, but no
matter which way I get at it, even going to the java homepage, THAT page
only brings up a page 'not found' message. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Jean. PS my pc won't let me post in these groups from it. I don't know
why.
