enable quick launch through the registry

I need a registry tweek that will enable the quick launch toolbar in windows
XP SP2, I have tried several tweeks from other postings and nothing seems to
work. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone help?

No tweak is necessary. Put the cursor on an empty spot on the taskbar, right
click, highlight Toolbars and, in the dropdown menu, highlight and select
QuickLaunch.
