Enable/Disable drive through script or batch file

Is this possible to enable and disable drive through batch file or script?

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
hotplug.dll brings up removeable media dialogue. What can be
done with script I dunno- macro is a snap.

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
