Enable/Disable a Network Connection from DOS prompt

Hi all,
anybody knows if is possible to enable/disable a network connection from the dos prompt? I need to perform the same action the "enable/disable" button does without entering the GUI.

If DHCP, try ipconfig /release

or net stop /y tcpip will stop all ip.

Will have a think about the disable but there work arounds depending
