Emptying Recycle Bins on outboard USB drives

I have a recycle bin on every outboard USB drive. They seem to be yoked
together -- whenever I remove a file from one it gets removed from all the
others. But I don't want it taking up space on my USB disks -- I'd rather
all the deleted files rside on my C: drive recycle bin. How do I remove it
from the others withut removing it from the C: drive recycle bin?
