Empty Recycle Bin

Before I empty my Recycle Bin, I usually open the bin to view its contents.
When the Recycle Bin is open, and I choose to empty it using the link within
that "folder", it opens the "Quick Finder". I can, however, empty the
Recycle Bin by right-clicking the icon and choosing the "empty ..." menu
selection. How can I fix this so I can empty the recycle bin, while I have
that folder open?

I believe, I may have not made my problem very clear. Let me try again.
When I double click on the Recycle Bin to view its contents. On the left is
a menue for "Recycle Bin Tasks". When I click on the "Empty Recycle Bin"
from this task menu, I am directed to "Windows Quick Finder", with it
pointing to my WebCT folder. I can click on the "File" selection of the menu
bar and successfully select the empty recycle bin choice from that drop-down
menu and can also right-click on the recycle bin icon from the desk top
successfully. I just can't use the link from the Tasks menu.

Thanks,

I just logged back and saw your reply. I will give this a try and see what
happens. This process appears to be potentially fairly time consuming, so it
may take a while to report back.

Success!! Here is the one that was causing the problem:

QuickFinder Shell Extension Yes Context Menu QuickFinder Shell
Extensions 8.0.0.225 PerfectFit 32-Bit Novell,
Inc. No No No C:\Corel\Suite8\Programs\PFSE80.DLL {C0E10002-0028-0001-C0E1-C0E1C0E1C0E1} 6/10/2003
7:46:02 AM 7/15/2004 8:45:39 AM No Directory, Drive, Folder 79,872

Should I just leave it disabled, or it there a way to "repair" it so I can
re-enable it and not have this problem from it again?

Since this particular component is associated with WordPerfect, I had already
decided that I need to uninstall and reinstall it to try to correct the
problem. Luckily, this is a secondary machine in my office at this time and
it's not a necessity to repair WordPerfect immediately. Actually, I will
probably try to obtain and install a later version than version 8 (probably
12 or higher), which ought to be more stable with Windows XP.

Thanks again

Yes Version 8 had some problems with XP. For some it ran fine, for
others not. Version 12 so far is very stable on this XP system.
