i'm looking for a program that will scan my drive for empty folders

If you can work from the commandline interface, and you want to delte
(not just find) emtpty directories (folders):

RmEmpty freeware deletes empty folders recursively.

When you download and unzip the rmemp12.zip file, the readme.txt
file contains:

RmEmpty v1.2 by Douglas Good
Freeware

This program searches folders given on the command line for empty
directories, and removes them. Directories containing files are
not removed, and no files are deleted. The search is always
recursive. Multiple folders can be specified on the command
line.

Use RmEmpty /? for help if needed.

Syntax: RmEmpty folder1 folder2 folder3 ..
</copy>

Download link there no longer works, but this does
<http://riverbbs.net/pub3/windows/RMEMP12.ZIP>

All the best,
