emon.dll missing error

What's in a Name?

Hi all-
I am getting a error message upon start up of Outlook2000. RarSFXO/Emon.dll
not found. Outlook seems to run fine after clicking OK.
I have googled and not found much info(many references to NOD32 which I am
not using) I am running W2K SP4 fully updated. Fresh install of Office2000
Premium
Outlook setup for internet only. Search of drive found no emon.dll. What
directory on the CD is it located so I can just extract it?

Nevermind I found the solution-there is a plug-in setting for NOD in the
advanced settings that I didn't know about

Try running a detect and repair of Outlook under the Help menu. Also, check
your COMs and Add Ins to see if anything related is integrated with Outlook.
You can also try scanning your PST for errors while Outlook is closed.

If none of those work, try creating a new profile for Outlook to use. Use
File > Open to open your existing PST. If the PST turns out to be the issue,
create a new PST and drag your data over but do it one folder at a time. Exit
Outlook inbetween folders to see if it's a particular folder causing a
problem.
