I used to send self-addressed e-mail links, similar to
self-addressed envelopes in snail mail.

Outlook Express now removes them as dangerous code.

Does anyone know whether they are stripped out by my
machine on the way out or on their way in? If the former,
can I turn it off?

It seems like overkill, especially when there are so many
good virus exterminators in the market.

Do you perchance get an ERROR message? If so, please tell us what it is.....

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
