Embedding images in emails

David

I am trying to create an html based newsletter to be sent
via email.

But when I save the page in Frontpage, then click FILE >
SEND, it does not add the image at the top of the page
onto the email.

How do I ensure that this appears in the email?

The images need to in a public location
such as a website. Html doesn't embed images,
it references a link to a location containing the image.

As an alternative, use Outlook or Outlook Express
set to compose in html mode. This way the images are
embedded in the e-mail providing the images are
in *your* computer.

Hi David,

It is unclear whether you're using FP to create the HTML code for the email
or using FP to send it or both.

If the first, you'll need to edit the HTML outside of FP to make the links
absolute, FP uses relative addressing by default.

I have been searching for a solution for this exact
problem. I can fix the broken links but then it adds a
CID number in the html code...Have you gotten any feedback
on this issue??
