Embedding fonts - do once, or after each edit of presentation?

Using PP 2000, you embed a font in the presentation by using the "save as"
command and clicking "Embed TrueType Fonts".

Questions:
1) If I do this once for a presentation, are the fonts left in the
presentation through all successive opens and regular saves? (Or do I have
to do a "save as" each time?)

2) If the embeding is persistent/permanent, is the font unembedded if it is
no longer used?

3) The presentation's "Properties" list fonts "used". Any way of listing
which ones are embedded (w/o writing VBA)?

You can prove to yourself that it is persistent. Save it once and check the
option to Embed Fonts under Tools. Then do another File > Save As and take
a look at the setting under Tools. It's still set to Embed Fonts. Easy?

All true type fonts are embedded if the option is checked. That includes
Arial, Times Roman, etc. If you don't want to embed fonts, be sure to
uncheck the option and no fonts will be embedded.
