embedding a .JPG inside an e-mail

I want to be able to embedd a single .JPG inside of an e-mail so that my
e-mail customer can see the .JPG without clicking on any link. It would be
visible inside the mail itself. Is there any way of doing this? I have
outllook 2003 and exchange 2003

Use the Insert | Picture command to add the image to the message body.

Then you are using text format which means you cannot insert anything in
the body of your e-mail that isn't text. You will have to attach your
image (since that then gets encoded into a plain-text MIME part within
the body of your post which your e-mail client shows as an attachment).

Switch to using HTML format (RTF works, too, but beware that it can get
mangled during transport and is of value only if the recipient is known
to also be using Outlook). You can use the menu method already
mentioned. You could also use copy-paste (open the JPEG in a graphics
viewer, copy it, and then paste at the current cursor location in your
HTML-formatted e-mail).
