Embedded Video Probs

Hi,

I have embedded my video (windows media player file) into my presentation
and for some reason the video won't play once it is clicked on in the
presentation slide. The video works outside of the presentation. Can you help?

Video is always linked in PowerPoint and it is handled by the mci not Windows
Media Player.

Does your video play in the mci (START > Run > type in mplayer2.exe & OK?
If not it won't play in PowerPoint either

How long is the path to the video. Try moving both the video and the
presentation to a folder with a short path and the delete and re- insert the
video.

No video files can be embedded in PowerPoint, they're just linked.
So if you change the location of your video files or PowerPoint files, the
link become invalid.

Or you may try other ways to make multimedia presentations. See a video

Videos can't be embedded in PowerPoint file.
But if PowerPoint convert to other format - video files will embed.
