Embedded PowerPoint presentations in Word

Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent a PowerPoint presentation
launching as a show when it's embedded into Word? Word seems to default
PowerPoint files to launch as a show but I'd like to be able to double-click
and go strainght into PowerPoint in normal view. Apologies in advance if
this should have been put into the Word discussion group
 
Unfortunately Word doesn't have the Action Settings like PowerPoint.
You can right click on the embedded presentation and left click on
Presentation Object, choose Open.
Or you can link to the external PPT file.
