Embedded Images

If you mean in a form or report, then simply open it in design mode, select
the image in question and press delete. Close the form/report and save your
changes.

I removed the the picture but the DataBase stayed the same size as with the
Photo.
 
Do a compact and repair (back up your db first).

Tools-Database Utilities-Compact and repair databse...

Also, I would suggest you set the Compact on close option

Tools-Options...
General Tab
Check the Compact on Close check box
