Embedded Excell Shreadsheet in Word to a wrod table

I have a excel table embedded into a word document. Is there a way that I
can convert the embedded excel table in the word document to a word table?

If you don't need it to be active content, you can unlink the field
(Ctrl+Shift+F9).

No way to convert the object directly. But you should be able to activate it
(double-click), copy the range of cells, then switch back to the Word
document and paste.
