embedded excel files

I have an excel file embedded into a powerpoint presentation. My problem is
that when I open the embedded object to edit it it resizes the object when I
click out of it. So much of the information that was there before editing is
now cut off. Does anyone know how I can keep this from happening? Or how to
resize it after it does happen?

While editing, if you move your scroll bars or tab to a
cell not originally in your PPT-embedded file and close
out of Excel before returning to your original location,
PPT will show the last place your viewed in Excel before
closing.

Make sense?

Thanks for you response Sandy, and yes it does make sense. But my problem is
that even when I do return to the original location PPT crops the original
size of the excel file and cuts off some of the columns.
