I have assembled a 300+ page Word document using
extensive internal cross-references and automatic Table
of Contents/Table of Figures functions in Word 2002. I
want to post this document on a web site in HTML format.
When I save it from Word as HTML, and open it using IE 6,
the TOC and TOF entries continue to function as
hyperlinks but the embedded cross references lose the
hyperlink and just appear as plain text. However, if I
open the HTML document with Word the cross-reference
links are alive and well. What must be done for IE 6 to
recognize and correctly function with these embedded
links?
