emails without extension

Sometimes I get an email with an attachment that is called noname without
extension. I have tried to open with various programs but no luck. I use
gmail and windows xp. Thanks
 
You might try posting your question to a group with "Windows" in the
description. This is a .Net programming newsgroup.
