i have received over 500 emails from a friend that I want to put on a dvd. I
use outlook, not express. How can I do this?
I've tried creating a pst folder and exporting. That didn't work.
Do I have to copy each email separately? Please show me a shortcut that
will work..

thanks,
nancy

Not sure what you are trying to do, but 1 way is to just copy the pst file
to the dvd or any other media and then opening it up in Outlook on another
machine (On DVD would not work because it would be a read only file). If
you actually just wanted the individual emails, you could select all 500
emails and then file> save as

how do I copy the pst files to the dvd? I tried and couldn't figure it out.
thanks for your help.

To copy a file to a dvd you need special software made for writing to DVD.
If you don't have it why not write to a thumb drive or SD card if you have
one of them

i have nero and I have a thumb drive. How do I get the outlook material to
copy? Every time I select all and then try to copy it freezes.
thanks for the idea, now i just have to figure out how to execute it.
That's where I'm hanging...

It will be far easier to copy the pst file to the thumb drive rather than
the DVD.

You can not copy a pst file if you are using that file which means that
Outlook must not be open. Probably the best way to make sure that you can
copy it is to log out of windows and then log back in. Then copy the pst
file to the thumb drive using Windows Explorer
