emails gone from yahoo inbox

i had used POP3 to connect my yahoo mail to outlook 2007. the main problem
now is all my mail from yahoo has moved to outlook inbox and delete from my
yahoo email sever. is there any way to reverse the action? i want all my mail
to remain in my yahoo account and not move to outlook.

They only way that I am aware of would be to forward all of them back to
the Yahoo account. Go into setup in Outlook for your Yahoo account and
check the box to leave a copy on the server.

That is how POP3 works. That is how it has always worked. Your POP3
email program sends a RETR (retrieve) command to get a copy of the
message and then it sends a DELE (delete) command to remove it from
your mailbox. If you want to omit the DELE command then configure
your email program to leave message on the server.

Since you already yanked them all to Outlook and deleted them from
your mailbox, the default operation for POP3, you will now have to
forward them all back to your account (but after you configure your
email program to leave messages on the server).
