A strange thing has started happening today.

When I click send and receive Outlook 2003 shows email coming in i.e. 1 of
20 etc. but nothing shows up in the inbox at all!

I am using Outlook 2003 connected to an Exchange 5.5 server and am
downloading both internal mail as well as external POP.

I have checked and even reset the view settings.

I can't find where the email is going and cannot receive email as of today.

Any ideas?

I have cleaned up my inbox (had over 5000 messages) and I am now receiving
mail into my inbox. Is there any way that I can get to see the mail over
last 12 hours that has disappeared?

EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO A PC IN MY OFICE A FEW
DAYS AGO. USE WINDOWS EXPLORER TO SEARCH FOR YOUR .PST
FILE. WILL BE CALLED OUTLOOK.PST OR SOMETHING SIMILAR.
GO TO THE FILE'S LOCATION (NORMALLY ON C:) RIGHT CLICK
AND CHANGE THE NAME. I.E. OUTLOOK1.PST.

REOPEN OUTLOOK IT WILL SAY IT CAN'T FIND YOUR EMAIL
LOCATION... GO BACK TO C: AND CHANGE THE FILE BACK TO
WHAT IT WAS ORIGINALLY CALLED. SOUNDS DAFT BUT IT WORKS!

GOOD LUCK :-)
