Emails disappeared yesterday

Yesterday, I had a problem with my computer freezing. I restarted it, pulled
up Windows Mail and all of the sudden the emails from the last month were
gone. The left sidebar was changed also. I had folders set for emails from
from certain companies which also disappeared. Does anyone have any idea how
to get this back?
