I'm losing emails from my inbox before I've had a chance to open them. They
download then immediately 'disappear'. How can I stop this happening?

One of two things is probably happening.

1) You are accessing a POP3 server using Outlook and Outlook is set to not
delete files from server. Therefore, the messages you see "popping in and
popping out" are messages that you have already downloaded once before on
that machine. Not actual "lost" mail.

2) You have Outlook set to sort mail into another folder. You see the
messages momentarily pop in but then pop out to the other folder.

Also check your View settings. Make sure All messages are showing, not just
Unread ones.

This is pure nonsense.

This is possible, but, in my opinion, unlikely. I think Mary's more on
track that it's a view issue.

Thanks all for your help. It seems that it was a spamkiller issue. Using
ViRobotXP and somehow it has set itself up to take certain emails out. I've
changed this now and will monitor it to see how it all works. Cheers!
