Use "Attach" in the new mail window, and browse to your Pictures folder.
Repeat as required.

When you highlight a picture, you should see a small box at the top left of
the picture, and it is checked. Right ?
When you go to the next picture, DO NOT highlight it. Click that small box
instead.
Do the same on the rest of the pictures you want to attach. When done, click
Open.
Note : make sure you click squarely at the small box. Don't get lazy, or
you'll have to start all over again.

Suppl. note :
The method mentioned applies only to pictures that are in the same folder.
Pictures from different folders will have to be " attached " separately,
one at a time.

Of course that is only if you enable it. :)
Control Panel->Folder Options->View
Put a checkmark next to: Use check boxes to select items

And it only works for attaching, not embedding multiple
images.

RE : Folder Options.
I believe the box is checked by default. But, I could be wrong.

Michelle,
I have been told by knowledgeable people that the following has to be done
if you want to use my method :
Start button > Control Panel > classic views > Folder Options > View >
scroll down till you find " Use check boxes to select items ", check that >
OK
Sorry I did not mention that as I thought it was enabled by default.
