Emailing reports/snapshot view??

I have access reports that I need to email. If I send them snapshot view,
how does the recipient view them? Do they have to have access?
I need to retain the report format. Is snapshot view the way I need to send
them?
 
They would need the free Microsoft Snapshot viewer to view a snapshot. You
could include a link to the download page on www.microsoft.com.

You could also save the report as a pdf which most people can view.
