Emailing .pdf files

PDF files cannot be opened in Outlook Express.
The message says "Create file association.......".
However, .pdf files saved Documents present no such problems, therefore the
association is there.
Any ideas?

I have had adobe on my computer. I updated adobe this week. I usually use
another computer for my email and have had no problems. My email was
recently moved to this computer and I get this error to make an association.
I can save the .pdf file and it opens fine, this is a pain. Do you have any
suggestions?
