Emailing Hyperlinks from Access

I have created a database that houses all company procedures and references.
I would like to be able to (when a procedure is updated or changed) to send
it out to each department. I have figured that much out. This is my
question. I want the hperlinked document to send as well. Everything I have
tried, I keep getting a not able to link error message. I just thought that
it would be easier to send the updated document from our database instead of
having to hunt around for it on our server. Any suggestions please resond!
