emailing background

I am doing a website and newsletter in FrontPage. I have put a background
picture in a cell and have added text. When I try to email the newsletter,
my background picture doesn't show up but the text does. Why won't the photo
show?

Does your email client allow you to compose in HTML format? Make sure that's
enabled.

You have 2 options:
1. Publish the image to a server and then reference it's address on the server.
2. Set Outlook Express to compose in html mode and create the news letter there.
when it is sent OE will automatically embed the image into the email.

I don't have OE, I have Outlook 2000. I've tried 2. but still can't get it
to look right. when I email it, the pic is not where I want it to be. I
just don't understand why it will show a solid color as a background but
won't show the pic. It's driving me crazy.

Ok. if you want to use the image as a background you will need to create a new email with the
image installed and then save it as "stationary."

Then start a new email and use your new "Stationary."
