Emailing a word document

If someone emails a Word document to another person and when the other user
trys to open it up, it opens up in Quick View. How can I open this send email
In its original form.

That behavior is controlled by the other user's configuration. As the
sender, there's nothing you can do to change it.
 
The person that received the email, what is the process of changing his
configuration?
