emailing a web page

I just got a new computer that has Microsoft Outlook (instead of Outlook
Express which was on the old one) and I have configured it to read and send
AOL email (which is our ISP); however, when I am at a webpage that I want to
send to someone, when I hit "file", "send", "page by email" nothing happens.
I have a feeling I have set up my email account options incorrectly but can't
seem to find any "help" anywhere for this problem. Anyone have any
suggestions?

Under Tools, Internet options, programs TAB, Chose AOL for your Email
handler see if that works

Is Outlook rulling at the time you do this? Outlook is different from OE in
this regard. Outlook must be running in order for mail to be sent.

Thanks...yes, it was running. I tried it both ways. I feel like I've tried
everything and nothing is working! I'm sure it's something simple in the
configuration that I just haven't figured out yet!

Thanks...I had already tried that and it didn't work...nothing seems to work
and it's making me crazy! I'm sure it's something simple in the setup; I
just can't find it!

Does the message appear in the Sent Items or Outbox folder?

No, it doesn't appear either place...plus, I'm trying to send "test" emails
and web pages to myself from internet explorer and they never arrive. I
talked to someone at an HP support desk and they told me to try reloading
Outlook that it sounded like it was corrupt...
