I have had trouble for 2 days now and disable virus, deleted email accounts
and restarted, then set up accounts again, this is the message I continue to
recieve about to through this out the window...not but ...

Account: 'pop-server.twcny.rr.com', Server: 'pop-server.twcny.rr.com',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Test your username/password by logging in to webmail.
If that works, it proves you have the correct username and password.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems with
Windows Mail over time. As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus
must be turned off, although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all of
its bad effects. In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be
uninstalled.

If turning off the email scanning function does not resolve your problem,
consider upgrading to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to
suffering bad effects from overly aggressive antivirus programs.

The Account: 'pop-server.twcny.rr.com' seems incorrect to me. It appears to
me that fletch44 is using the server name for the account. Your advice to
test using webmail will help since it will help getting the correct account,
unless the webmail uses a different syntax for account name.

The account name doesn't matter. It is cosmetic only.
The server name pop-server.twcny.rr.com is correct.
