When you click on a file, the extension of the file tells the OS what
program to use to open the file.

In your case, no program is associated with an extension of ".email."

Ask the person who sent you the file what they used to create it.

Alternatively, you can start a program and tell the program to open the
file. You may have to go through several hundred programs to find one that
understands the target file - or you may simply not have the program
available.

I personally think you're doomed.
