Very disappointed in no automatic set up on this supposedly wonderful windows
vista...not computer illiterate enough to know what all that stuff means...I
just want my yahoo default to be my only email but after installing a webcam
and trying to email, that other email junk comes up and I don't have a
clue...and trying to find a real place to contact a live person is a
joke...support seems nonexistant! I know....I'm going to get a bunch of smart
alec replies based on the replies I have been reading for an hour...

If your Yahoo account is one of the free US-based ones, it only has
web browser access, no POP access. If you want POP (email client)
access, you will have to pay extra for a Yahoo Mail Plus account:

If you just want your Yahoo webmail to be your default email service,
