Here's what I want to do:

Everytime I input a name, it represents the email address and automatically
becomes a hyperlink. For example:

John Smith will automatically become a hyperlink to (e-mail address removed). Is
there some way that I can set John Smith = (e-mail address removed) or something like
that?

Thanks,
Scott

Try out the following:

In Excel menu-
----Tools - Options - Spelling
-----Click on 'Auto Correct Options...' button
------Input the name (John Smith) in the text box labelled 'Replace:' and
input the email id ([email protected]) in the text box labelled 'With:'.
------Click on Add and click OK and close the window.

Now, whenever you type John Smith and press the enter key, it will change to
the email id.

Note: Instead of putting the entrire name, you can use short names, what
ever you like. For ex: for John Smith you input JS in the 'Replace:' text box
mentioned above, so that when ever you type JS it gets converted to the email
id.

Hope this will help you.

Thank you. That's an idea. But here's the problem. I have a drop down box
of names which I use. And I want their names to appear in the box, not their
email addresses. I want that when I select any name from the drop down box,
it automatically becomes a hyperlink to the email address associated. Now
the truth is, they are all outlook contacts, so the "mailto:" would be the
name itself. Do you think this is possible?

Thanks for all your help,
Scott
