After installing SP3, Outlook inserts my signature at the
top of the email body when opening an existing email
template. Never did this before. Anyone else encountering
similar problem? Work around?

Thanks!

Which version of Outlook are you using? Are you using Outlook or Word as your e-mail editor?

I encountered the same problem today and have not found a solution. I
recently installed SP3 and that was the only possible cause that I
could come up with. Help anyone?

Thanks in advance,

- J.

I am using Outlook XP and Word is not set as my email editor.

I'm using Outlook 2002/XP and Outlook as the email editor.

Did some more testing and it looks like problem is only
with templates created before SP3 install. Templates
created after SP3 work correctly--the signature is
inserted at end.

Guess the workaround is to re-create our email templates.

Huh, I first noticed this when using a brand new template created after the
SP3 install. One of the first things I tried was to re-create some, but to
no avail. Oh well, I'm glad it's working for you!
