email spellcheck

As soon as I downloaded XP I lost the spellcheck function
on email I am sending in Outlook Express that I had with
ME. Does this happen to everyone? I have downloaded the
Microsoft upgrades and the problem is not fixed. Can it
be corrected?

spell check in outlook express is only available if you have ms office
installed.

Outlook Express does not have a spellcheck function of its own. If it
detects that Microsoft Word is installed, it will use Word's spellcheck
function.

After the download is complete, just point to the download location on the
Start, Run line, to activate it.
Then you should Reboot,
