all emails automatically go to the task pad in calendar view, as well as to
the inbox folder in the Mail view. i want to stop this -i have to delete them
manually!
any thoughts on where the command is to forward/ not forward emails to the
task pad?
HELP!

That is very strange -- e-mails should not appear as e-mails in any task
folder, and the TaskPad is just a view of your Tasks folder. Are you sure
these aren't task requests being sent to you by someone else? What version
of Outlook are you using?

2003 version.
they don't go into the "my tasks" section itself- just to the task pane
on the calendar view. i rmember trying to send an email to the task pane so i
could remember to do it as a task. but since then everything goes to this
task pane (on calendar view only). i don't remember what i did to make it
happen the first time, or i would try to undo it the same way. i did not just
drag and drop it from mail to calendar, i know that. but how else could i do
it?

Do you have any rules set on incoming mail messages that might be causing this?
