Email - rules & alert (insufficient space)

Anybody encounter this problem whereby your rules cannot run due to
insufficient space? Any idea how to overcome this?

Error message: "One or ore rules could not be uploaded to exchange server
and have been deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are
not supported or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules".

I reckon it is due to insufficient space because I was able to run it
manually.
 
Does that mean that for microsoft outlook before 2007 version, we would not
be able to increase the allocated space?

Yes, that's what it means.
 
No, it means before Exchange 2007 you won't be able to increase the
allocated space; it is an Exchange limitation and not an Outlook limitation.
