Email received but content of email was missing

I have just sent an email and the content of the email was missing although
the email was received.
 
Does the email appear in your Sent Items intact?

Do you scan your outgoing email with antivirus? That may be the culprit.

If not, the problem may be at your recipient's end. Do they scan their
incoming mail with AV?
