email pics from my pictures

Can't make my pictues smaller when emailing them
throgh "my pictures"
I open my pictures, select the folder with the pictures,
select the pic I want to email.
I then click on the
"File and Folders Tasks"
"E-mail this file"
and send a large 2gig picture.

It sends it too large. I went through "help" and It says
to click the "send pictures via email" in the
"bialog box", to make them smaller.

Where is this "send pictures via email" and bialog box?
cant find it anywhere

If the dialog box does not open, you probably lost automated XP functions
with photo files.
To see if I am correct, place your mouse pointer over the name or thumbnail
of a photo file.
A textbox will open. The first item listed should be Dimensions of the
picture in pixels. If this item is not listed, repair everything this way:
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
Then try sending again.
