email notification problem

Hi,

I am having problem with the email notification (when new email arrive)
after updating Window XP service pack 2.

I had managed to have the notification shown on the bottom right of taskbar
by making the icon as 'always shown' and edited the Outlook program to be
excluded from the firewall filter.

BUT I still can't get the email notification window to pop up (with the
message - New mail has arrived. Would you like to read it now?). Can anyone
tell me how can I solve it?

I would check your pop-up blocker.

Thanks. It is the pop-up blocker. May I know how can I set it up so that only
Microsoft Outlook is excluded from the pop-up blocker? As the only setting I
can see is web address.

Which POP-UP blocker are you using.
