Hi, I just changed my default .pst and am now accessing
an older file. Everything is working fine, but when I try
to create a message and use the pull down to select the
recipient to send it to, I get an error message that says
outlook cannot find the contact list... yet if I go
into "contacts" all my contacts are there. How can I get
the email to see the contact list again?

Thanks a million,

Danny (btw, this is outlook 2003 on XP)

Make sure your Contacts Folder is enabled as an email address book
(Properties) and reset the Outlook Address Book to display the correct
Folder:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change. >

I am working on Win 2000 and Outlook 2002, and have the same problem
because I moved the .pst file from one computer running Win NT and
Outlook 98 to this laptop. Can you please explain how to make the
contacts folder accessible when writing a new email.
